Hi there! My name is Kelly and I am a fully qualified TEFL teacher, and live in the beautiful city of Johannesburg in South Africa. If you are looking to master the English language, improve your conversation skills and Business English, then I am the teacher for you. I have 2 years experience teaching English to adults students in South America and Europe. I enjoy having conversations with my students and getting to know them. My hobbies include running, reading, listening to music, watching movies and learning new recipes. I am interested in philosophy, cultures and movies. I am a kind and patient person, always willing to learn just as much from my students as I teach. From my experience from teaching English, I have grown to love interacting with students and watching them grow on their journey. I love learning from the in return about the books they read, their travels and the culture in their country. Its exciting to talk to different people from the other side of the world, about their lives and why they want to learn English. Its inspiring for me to see them take the step to learn a new language and their bravery and commitment is truly admirable. I understand that learning English may be a challenging and scary journey, but I make the effort to create a friendly and comfortable class environment where students can learn, make mistakes, feel free to ask any questions and make learning English fun! All my classes are focused on the students and helping to build vocabulary, pronunciation, sentence construction, reading and conversational skills.
