What we collect

• Account data — name, email, role (student/parent/tutor), password (hashed).
• Booking data — lesson times, subjects, payment receipts.
• Tutor profile data — qualifications, education, photo, hourly rate, written bio.
• Usage data — pages viewed, search filters, referring source. Aggregated, not sold.
• Messages — communications between students and tutors sent through the platform.

Why we collect it

To run the marketplace: matching students to tutors, processing payments, supporting accounts, and complying with our legal obligations.

Who we share with

• Payment processors — Stripe and PayPal for card and PayPal payments.
• Email providers — Brevo for transactional and account email.
• Cloud hosting — Cloudflare for delivery and protection.
• We never sell personal data to third parties.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, port, restrict, object to processing, and request erasure of your personal data. Email [email protected] with the subject line "Data request" and we will respond within one month.
