Terms of service

These terms govern your use of TheTutorLink (the "Platform"), operated by ND Media Ltd ("we", "us"). By creating an account or booking a lesson you agree to these terms.

The marketplace

TheTutorLink is a marketplace connecting students and parents with self-employed tutors. Tutors are independent contractors, not employees of ND Media Ltd. Lessons are delivered directly between tutor and student.

Bookings, payments and cancellations

• You pay through the Platform at the time of booking.
• We charge a 5% platform fee, deducted from the tutor’s payout.
• Cancellations made at least 12 hours before a lesson are refunded in full.
• Cancellations within 12 hours of a lesson are not refundable except at the tutor’s discretion.

Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) take communications or payments off-platform on early lessons; (b) impersonate another person; (c) post unlawful, harassing or misleading content; (d) attempt to interfere with or scrape the Platform.

Tutor obligations

Tutors must accurately represent their qualifications, hold the right to work in the UK, and comply with applicable safeguarding and tax obligations. We reserve the right to remove any tutor that breaches these terms.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, ND Media Ltd is not liable for the conduct or content of individual tutors or students. Our liability for any claim arising under these terms is limited to the fees paid to us in the prior six months.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
