- Read the spec first — every revision plan worth following starts at the awarding body, not the textbook.
- Test before you read — sit a past paper cold. Mark schemes will tell you which topics you actually need to revise.
- Active recall > rereading — flashcards, blank-page brain dumps, teach-it-back. Highlighters earn nothing.
- Spaced over crammed — twenty minutes daily for six weeks beats four hours the night before. Every time.
